President of Beni Suef University receives a delegation from the Government Excellence Award administration to arbitrate internal institutional awards

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today the Government Excellence Award management team to arbitrate internal institutional awards at the Ministry of Planning, within the framework of launching the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, the internal awards system in universities (The second phase) in cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, and the Supreme Council of Universities, which contributes in deepening the culture of institutional excellence in the higher education sector and raising the spirit of competitiveness between universities and their colleges in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030. The delegation from the Government Excellence Award administration included Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the British Hardfordshire University and former President of Mansoura University, Dr. Mona Hagras, Assistant Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Ms/ Soha Saeed, Executive Director of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, Dr. Mohamed Abd Rabbo, Dean of the Institute of Productivity and Quality at the Arab Academy, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, Director of Evaluation for Educational institutions awards for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, Ms. Esraa Hosni, Evaluation and Quality Officer, and Ms. Rehab Mohamed, Communications and Documentation Officer This came in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nisreen Hossam El-Din, Media and Communication Officer and Vice Dean of the College of Mass Communication for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Fahd Kamal El-Din, Technology Support Officer, Director of the Software Design and Development Unit, and Vice-Dean of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for Education and Student Affairs. Dr. Amjad Bahij is the evaluation officer and director of the university’s Measurement and Evaluation Center, in addition to a number of members of the administrative staff
The University President explained that the award is one of the government mechanisms which  used in the process of developing the administrative apparatus, and aims to form an efficient and effective administrative apparatus that in turn contributes in achieving sustainable development, keeping pace with developments, and developing human capabilities, in addition to consolidating the principles and values of excellence in all sectors, pointing out that The award is not only at the individual level, but also at the institutional level
The delegation expressed their happiness at being within Beni Suef University, and that the university includes many achievements that deserve to be crowned, documented, and taken into consideration and appreciation, especially with the human and material capabilities it possesses, unique colleges, in addition to the diversity of specializations and distinguished programs.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Mansour presented the university shield to Ambassador Hisham Badr, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development, which was received on his behalf by Ms. Soha Saeed, Executive Director of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, and another shield to Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the British Hardfordshire University, and certificates of appreciation for members of the delegation. The University President received the Government Excellence Award shield presented by the Ministry of Planning in recognition of his achievements and efforts within the university, which were appreciated by the delegation during the visit
