The President of Beni Suef University signs a cooperation protocol with the Agricultural Bank of Egypt

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Mr/Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, signed today a joint cooperation protocol between the university and the bank aimed at issuing national prepaid cards “Meeza” to university students.
The protocol signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Amin Lutfi, former president of the university, Dr. Shaaban Mubariz, financial advisor to the university president, Mr/ Muhammad Selim, university secretary, and Mr/Sami Abdel Sadiq, vice chairman of the
Agricultural Bank.
The university president explained that the protocol comes within the framework of the university’s role in promoting financial inclusion, spreading financial culture to all university groups, and stimulating entrepreneurship among students, by issuing unified cards that are used in all electronic transactions for university students, free of charge, with the aim of achieving sustainable development and benefiting from the ability to Marketing and promotional services for the bank branches.
The university president added that a technical assistance team has been formed to coordinate with the bank to implement the protocol, with the aim of providing administrative and technical assistance specialized in linking the databases of university students in a way that ensures that no defect occurs in the databases before implementation, provided that the bank installs a number of automated teller machines in a number of places at the university.
It should be noted that at the end of the meeting, shields were exchanged in the presence of a large presence of university leaders, deans of colleges, and administrative leaders of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt.
