President of Beni Suef University visits “churches and monasteries in the governorate” to congratulate on Christmas

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, visited a number of churches and monasteries in Beni Suef Governorate, to offer congratulations to the Christian brothers, partners of the nation, on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him. The university president was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Hanan Soliman, a member of the Senate, Representative Mervat Michel, Representative Siham Bashai. Mr.Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, deans of colleges, faculty members, employees, and students for Egypt.
The University President began his tour by visiting the Archbishopric Church in the city of Beni Suef, where the University President congratulated His Eminence Bishop Gabriel, Bishop of Beni Suef, amid a large gathering of fathers and priests who expressed their appreciation for this visit, which indicates the depth of feelings of love and brotherhood between the nation’s Muslims and Copts from the governorate.
Then the President of the University headed to the Diocese of Biba, and he was received by Bishop Stephen, Bishop of Biba, Al-Fashn, and Somosta, and a number of the priests of the Diocese, where he exchanged welcome and good feelings with the crowd of attendees, expressing his happiness to share with them the joy of this occasion dear to the hearts of the great Egyptian people. After that, the university president went to the monastery of Anba Anthony in the Nasser Center, where he was received by His Eminence Father Anthony, a group of the monastery’s leaders, and a group of Christian and Muslim brothers. He also visited the monastery of Anba Paula, the Nasser Center, and congratulated His Eminence the Father/Basilius and all the Christian fathers and brothers inside the monastery. 
During the visit, the university president emphasized the unity of ranks among the people of one nation, and the strength of the Egyptian people under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, which clearly appears in the depth of the relations between the Egyptian people, Muslims and Copts, at various ages, calling on God to restore the holidays to our beloved Egypt with goodness, peace, security and stability.
For their part, the fathers and priests thanked the university president for his keenness to visit and offer congratulations on the holiday, which indicates the strength of relations and interdependence between the Egyptian people of all sects, and expresses the spirit of love and unity among one nation.
