The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, in its 228th session, in the presence of the university’s vice presidents and college deans, approved the launch of the Faculty of Sciences for Special Needs initiative entitled Facilitated Tourism for People with Disabilities in cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, to include awareness seminars in Al Amal schools for the deaf  on tourist awareness of sign language and providing sign language interpreters for the provided  content  The Council also approved the formation of a committee to adapt exams for people with mental, hearing, visual, impaired, and autism disabilities, provided that the committee is formed by the college, taking into account the appropriate specifications of exams for disability at the university level, and to hold training workshops in the field of rehabilitation and care for people with special needs on the sidelines of awareness initiatives that made by the college Within the Faculty of Physical Education, Helwan University, and for teachers of special education and integration schools, in addition to translating the university’s anti-violence against women unit brochures in Braille, and holding a free clothing exhibition in cooperation with the Awladna Association for the Care of People with Special Needs
