The Beni Suef University Council approves the proposal of the Institute of Medical and Aromatic Plants to hold a series of awareness seminars

The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, at its 228th session, in the presence of the University’s Vice Presidents and College Deans, approved the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants’ proposal to hold a series of awareness seminars.
The university president explained that the activities include a symposium entitled Good Agricultural Practices in the Production of Medical and Aromatic Plants, targeting researchers, producers, exporters, final team students, and graduates of the College of Agriculture in the governorate An awareness symposium entitled Poisonous and narcotic plants and their physiological effects, to raise awareness of the effect of narcotic drugs on the individual and society and the danger of using toxic plants that contain highly dangerous substances whose physiological effect is unknown. It targets the Institute’s researchers, workers and students of colleges and university institutes to raise awareness against narcotics, in addition to holding an awareness symposium on narcotic drugs.
