Beni Suef University Council approves the Faculty of Social Work’s proposal to hold a number of awareness-raising events

The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, approved during its 228th session, in the presence of representatives Vice Presidents of the University and Deans of Colleges, on the College of Social Work’s proposal to hold a number of awareness seminars within the College’s plan to serve the community.
The university president explained that the activities include holding a symposium entitled “Rumors and the Danger of Social Media Sites,” a symposium entitled “Dangers of Female Genital Mutilation,” in cooperation with the National Council for Childhood in Beni Suef, and a symposium entitled “Presidential Initiatives and Mechanisms for Youth Participation,” in cooperation with the Presidential Initiatives Officer at the Ministry of Solidarity and a symposium entitled “The University Student Charter.”
He added that the activities include launching the “Together to Reduce the Risks of Climate Change and How to Deal with Crises” initiative, in cooperation with the Red Crescent in Beni Suef, as well as implementing an awareness seminar to train students within the “Mawaddah” initiative to protect the entity of the Egyptian family
