Beni Suef University launches a comprehensive convoy to the village of Dalas, which is included in Decent Life Initiative

Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, launched a comprehensive medical, veterinary, agricultural and awareness-raising convoy to the village of “Dallas” in Nasser Center, which is included within the “Decent Life” initiative launched by His Excellency the President of the Republic to improve the standard of life for the most needy societal groups, providing and supporting health services, improving the standard of living and providing the medical services needed by citizens, especially those who are unable.
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the convoy took place with the participation of 10 faculties, namely human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, agriculture, Special Needs Science, Developmental Social Work, and earth sciences, where examinations were signed and the necessary medications were dispensed free of charge.
The university president added that 1,200 cases were examined in various medical clinics in the specialties of internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, nose and ear, ophthalmia, children, bones, urology, teeth, speech, and physical therapy, where medicine was provided free of charge and cases that required follow-up were transferred to the University Hospital also blood pressure and blood sugar measurements were also performed for the villagers for free, and 150 veterinary cases were examined and treated.
Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi indicated that a group of awareness-raising and religious seminars were held “with the participation of a delegation from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif,” and others were educational and agricultural on a number of topics, including the presidential initiative “Mawaddah” to preserve the entity of the Egyptian family, the danger of underage marriage, early detection of disabilities, and diseases of the spine, prevention methods, early detection of delayed speech, conducting case studies for a number of village children, rationalizing water consumption, preserving the environment, and recycling waste, as these seminars were translated into sign language for people of determination, in addition to carrying out survey visits to fields and lands.
