Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, announced that the Clinical Psychology Program will organize a field visit to the nursing home in East Nile, under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Daoud, Academic Vice President, and in the presence of Dr. Suhair Abdel Basset, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, Dr. Qayati Ashour, Program Coordinator, and Dr. Ashraf Shalaby , professor of developmental psychology.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized that the aim of the visit is to introduce the program students to the characteristics of the elderly stage, the psychological and social factors that affect them negatively or positively, and to become aware of some of the psychological, social and environmental problems that affect them. He stressed the university’s keenness to organize these field visits that leave a beautiful impact on the souls of the elderly and gives them joy and happiness, pointing out that the students carried out many recreational activities for the residents of the home, and distributed gifts to them.
