President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the start of operation of the burns department at the university hospital

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated the start of operation of the burns department at the university hospital, in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for the Community Service Sector, Dr. Khaled Al-Hadidi, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Dr. Hisham Bushra, Executive Director of Hospitals. University, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Senator, and Dr. Muhammad Youssef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, in the presence of a large number of department heads and medical staff.

The university president explained that the new expansions in burn care included the addition of 8 intensive care beds and 11 beds in the internal department for treating burn patients, pointing out that the expansions were carried out under the supervision of an integrated medical team of plastic and burn surgeons, which contributes to providing all needs of burn patients at the governorate level and reducing the burden of transportation to other governorates for treatment.
