The Nursing College team won the championship of Five-a-Side Football League at Beni Suef University after defeating the Computers team 1-0.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, announced today that the Faculty of Nursing team won the Beni Suef National University league title, Dr. Mansour Hassan Cup, in its second edition, after defeating the team of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence by a goal without a response, after 32 participants participated, following the participation of 32 teams from all university faculties.
The award ceremony was attended by Dr. Sahar Dawoud, Academic Deputy, Dr. Enas Yahya, College of Medicine Coordinator, and Dr. Sharif. Mamdouh, Student Activities Coordinator.
The University President stressed the importance of sports activity in building the balanced personality of students, discovering and developing their talents, and using students’ energies in what is useful and fruitful, in addition to providing them with additional skills that will help them in their practical and academic lives, such as enhancing the spirit of teamwork, developing work in a team spirit, in addition to spreading awareness and sports culture among students, nurturing talented students, and elevating their technical and skillful levels.
Additionally, an awareness campaign titled "Get Involved" was organized alongside the tournament, aiming to educate students about the significance of active participation in the presidential elections as a national duty and a constitutional right, highlighting its impact on shaping the present and future within a framework of democracy and complete freedom.
It's worth noting that student Mohammed Yousry from the Faculty of Dentistry team was awarded the title of Best Player in the tournament. Furthermore, Abdullah Hussein from the Nursing College team was honored with the title of Best Goalkeeper.
