President of Beni Suef University honors student / Mohamed Abdel-Moneim for achieving the title of "First World Champion" and a gold medal in weightlifting in Mexico.

Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, honored the second-year student, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim Sayed, from the Faculty of Commerce for achieving the title of "First World Champion" and his reception of a gold medal at the 2023 World Weightlifting Championship held in Mexico. The event was attended by Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Head of the Department of Individual Sports and Contests at the Faculty of Physical Education, Captain / Mohamed Farouk, General Manager of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and Ms. Iman Hussein Nour El-Din, Director of Talent and Olympic Champion National Project in Beni Suef.
The university president emphasized the university's commitment to providing comprehensive support to its outstanding athletes in various sports, encouraging them to continue their successful journey and achieve top positions. He highlighted that this accomplishment adds to the university's record of achievements in the field of sports.
Indicating that honoring outstanding athletes serves as motivation for them to strive for more advanced sporting titles in upcoming competitions and contests.
It's worth mentioning that Mohamed Abdel-Moneim is a product of the Talent and Olympic Champion National Project. He previously obtained the title of the first Arab African champion in the Arab-African Championship, accumulating a total of six medals in this championship.
