Beni Suef University Council agrees to organize a number of seminars and training courses at the Faculty of Agriculture

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in its 227th session, approved the Faculty of Agriculture’s organization of a number of training courses, including “Plant Tissue Cultivation of Horticultural Crops” and “Nurseries and Seedling Care” in cooperation with the Center for Research and Agricultural Products, and another on “Garden design and landscaping,” and a third on “the role of the youth of the Faculty of Agriculture in developing and preserving the environment,” as well as a workshop on climate change and its impact on agricultural production in Egypt. This was attended by the vice presidents of the university, deans of colleges, and members of the council.
The President of the University explained that the student of the Faculty of Agriculture must combine the theoretical and practical aspects, which takes place through training courses and workshops for students inside and outside the college, due to the importance of agriculture as one of the basic pillars of the Egyptian economy. The Faculty of Agriculture also owns a research center, which aims to link University education and the needs of society to develop agricultural production, both plant, animal and poultry, and develop it by achieving its objectives, the most important of which is conducting experiments and applied agricultural research.
