President of Beni Suef University: Renewing the international certificate in quality management systems “ISO” 9001 for the university for the seventh consecutive year

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the renewal of the international certificate in quality management systems “ISO” 9001 for Beni Suef University successfully and with high effectiveness for the seventh consecutive year in accordance with the requirements of the international standard, based on the recommendations of the external review committee, which completed its work after a review of all the required files and documents over the course of two days, through the university’s reception of the periodic review committee by the company granting the ISO 9001 certificate, headed by Engineer Mamdouh Fathi, the company’s chief auditor, where the procedures for implementing the system and the ISO 9001 files in the various general departments of the university were reviewed. This came in the presence of Mr/Mohamed. Salim, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Heba Atef Al-Shimi, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center, directors of university departments, and officials of the university’s quality files.

The University President praised the role played by the University's Quality Assurance Center in constantly monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the system's implementation to ensure the continuity of the University's ISO certification, in cooperation with all directors of public departments and file officials at Beni Suef University.

Dr. Heba Atef Al-Shimi stressed the importance of applying quality and accreditation standards in all university colleges, centers and departments, in order to ensure the quality of service provided by each department, as well as the quality of the educational process in the colleges to qualify for national and international accreditation because of its effective role in improving the university’s position in the Global classifications, as well as attracting more international students.

Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad pointed out that the ISO 9001:2015 certificate is an international standard in quality management systems that lasts 3 years and is monitored annually. It is one of the international accreditation certificates affiliated with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with its main headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
