Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received a delegation from the National Council for Disability against the backdrop of the university’s hosting of a symposium on enhancing the political participation of people with disabilities in the presidential elections. This was in the presence of Dr. Iman Karim, General Supervisor of the Council, and Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the Faculty of Special needs Sciences, Dr. Al-Shaima Abdel Salam, youth lecturer for participation in the presidential elections, and Mr. Hisham Al-Gebali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Beni Suef.
The University President expressed his delight with this meeting, appreciating the role of the Council in developing, qualifying, integrating and empowering people with disabilities in society, stressing that the University pays great attention to students with disabilities in particular, and is overcoming all obstacles that people with disabilities may face and working to facilitate all procedures related to them. In addition to providing scholarships to postgraduate students in all colleges for students with special needs.
