The Faculty of Earth Sciences at Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, organized a reception for new students for the year 2023/2024 Under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Abdel Gaid, Dean of the College, and Dr. Safia Muhammad Ali, Vice President of the College for Community Service Affairs, in the presence of Dr. Issam Abdel Rahman, Vice President of the College for Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Shaaban Ghanem Saber, Vice Dean of the College for Educational  and Students Affairs. , faculty, staff and students During the ceremony, the new students were introduced to the college’s departments, namely the Department of Mineral Resources, the Department of Water and Environmental Geology, and the Department of Engineering Geology, and its various programs, in addition to an adequate explanation of the job opportunities and various training fields, and a brief overview of these departments, their laboratories, and training in it The college seeks to prepare qualified scientific cadres in the fields of exploration and management of water resources, petroleum, mineral wealth, and environmental impacts to meet the requirements of the labor market and provide them with practical skills that conform to the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation to advance scientific research and community services
