Participation of Beni Suef University in the activities of the second phase training of Excellence Ambassadors

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the university’s participation in the activities of the second phase of the training of Excellence Ambassadors for the Equal Opportunities and Women’s Empowerment Award, which was launched by the Egypt Award for Government Excellence in cooperation with the Economic Governance Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development and the National Council for Women, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Dr. Ghada Atef, Director of the Unit for Combating Violence against Women, and Ms. Olfat Al-Sharif, Director of the Unit for Serving People with Disabilities, participated in the training.
For his part, the university president explained that the training aims to enhance and create a work environment in government institutions that is appropriate and safe for women and people of determination, and ensures equal access to opportunities and access to resources and services without discrimination for all groups, in implementation of the mandates of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and in line with the national strategy to empower women.
