Beni Suef University Council approves the launch of the “Plant a Tree” initiative at the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology

The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, approved, during its 225th session, the launch of the “Plant a Tree” initiative at the College of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, in cooperation with the College of Agriculture and the Agricultural Research Center
The university president explained that the initiative will take place on two axes: the first will be afforestation with specific species suitable for the environment and education surrounding the college, and the second will include each graduate planting a tree inside the college, stressing the importance of initiatives that serve the environment and intensifying efforts to reduce carbon emissions, which improves the quality of the environment in light of Recent climate changes
