A training workshop on "Strategies and Methods for Dealing with Persons with Disabilities" at Beni Suef University

The Social Solidarity Unit at Beni Suef University organized a training workshop on strategies and methods of dealing with people with disabilities within the "Companions of Determination" initiative, in cooperation with the Egyptian Volunteer Bank, under the auspices of Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Salah Ahmed Hashem, Consultant of the Ministry of Social Solidarity for Social Policies and the General Coordinator of Social Solidarity Units in Universities, and Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Dr. Mansour said that the workshop dealt with defining disability and its types, correcting misconceptions related to disabilities, the problems they face, and strategies and methods of dealing with people with disabilities
The workshop was attended by Dr. Haitham Nagy, Director of the Center for Students with Disabilities at Beni Suef University, and a teacher of visual sciences at the Faculty of Science for People with Special Needs, and Dr. Olfat Al-Sharif, Director of the Disability Challenge Unit at Beni Suef University, and Deputy Director of the Center for Students with Disabilities
