Beni Suef University Council honors the team that won first place at the level of Egyptian universities in the field of astrophysics

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, honored, in its session No. 219, the (SatConnect) team of the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, the winner of the first place at the level of Egyptian universities in the field of astrophysics and astronomy at the Egypt International Science and Technology Fair (EISTF), in the presence of university vice-presidents, deans of faculties, and members of the council
The President of the University congratulated the administrators of the College of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, led by Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the College, and the winning team, which included the student Hossam Farahat Fathi in the third year of the Applied Sciences for Space and Navigation Program, and the student Rana Saeed Fahmy in the fourth year of the Astronautics Program under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Murad. Abdul Rahman, a teacher of space communications at the college and Coordinator of the Applied Sciences Program for Space and Navigation. The project is a satellites' Ground station for wireless communication and IOT Applications
It is noteworthy that the winning team outperformed all participants from 20 Egyptian universities in the largest international scientific competition for university students, where they had a unique opportunity to present their research projects and to learn about competition projects related to other sciences such as biology, medicine, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, astronomy, computer science, chemistry, environment, behavioral, and social sciences
