With a female participation rate of 42%.... 1529 students applied for candidacy for the elections of Beni Suef University Students Union

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that 1,529 male and female students from all faculties of the university wished to run for the students union elections for the current academic year. The number of male students reached 865, while the number of female students reached 664, with a participation rate of 43%.
The University President stated that the withdrawal and submission of the forms for candidacy at the level of 27 colleges at the university took place last Thursday, provided that appeals will be received as of tomorrow, Monday, November 28, and the appeals will be examined on Tuesday, 29, and the final lists will be announced on Wednesday, November 30.
The university president referred to the diversity of the committees,
he also stressed the need for students to practice the electoral process with transparency and integrity, pointing out that the students' participation in the electoral experience inside the university refines their personality, increases cultural awareness, and qualifies them to live outside the university and practice public work to serve the community and the country.
