47 laptops for Beni Suef University students who won master's scholarships from the Center of Excellence for Water

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, stated that the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science distributed 47 "laptops" to students who won master's scholarships offered by the Center of Excellence for Water funded by USAID, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the College, and Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean Faculty of Science, Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Vice Dean of the College of Graduate Studies for Community Service Sector, Dr. Walaa Moslehi, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Mohamed Sayed, Vice Dean of the College of Science, and Professor Dalia Al-Arabi at the American University.

The university president indicated that the scholarships won by the students also allow them to obtain a monthly salary, housing allowance, research allowance, and study expenses, pointing out that the university plays a leading role in all research fields, especially in the field of water research, stressing the university’s full support for all students, researchers, and faculty members and encourage them to conduct applied researches, especially related to national projects, in order to reach the best results that benefit the Egyptian society.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the College and the university representative in the project, stated that last year the university topped the list of grant winners with 47 competitive master’s scholarships in the field of water research funded by the Water Excellence Center in Alexandria, due to its increased local and international participation in achieving the goals of sustainable development, in particular Goal No. (6) related to water.
