Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that university hospitals have the latest multi-section x-ray machine at the level of Beni Suef Governorate With a capacity of 16 to 160 clips, the device can capture 160 cross-sections in one shot
The president of the university indicated that the new device can scan a large section in one lap at full speed, which leads to a decrease in the patient’s exposure to radiation, in addition to the advanced device’s ability to fully image moving organs such as the heart, brain, and vessels in one shot, as well as imaging All dynamic checks.
  The university president emphasized that the university, through its hospitals and medical centers, aims to provide the best medical service to the citizen, indicating that the presence of the device in university hospitals contributes to alleviating the burdens on the citizen in Beni Suef governorate in frequenting specialized radiology centers
and improving the level of health service provided and the medical system in Beni Suef Governorate in particular and North Upper Egypt in general
Dr. Mansour Hassan extended his full thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the former and current administrative leaders in university hospitals in accelerating and following up the procedures, headed by Dr. Atef Morsi, former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Wael Saqr, current Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, former Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Dr. Hisham Bushra, the current Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Dr. Ahmed Hisham, Head of the Radiology Department.
  Dr. Atef Morsi, former dean of the Faculty of Medicine, said that the device is a scientific and service leap for university hospitals, pointing out that the device has surpassed several previous generations of 64 and 128 sections, and opens the door to providing many advanced examinations that keep pace with the rapid development in the medical field
