Beni Suef University continues to welcome new students

The faculties of Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, continue their celebrations to receive students, coinciding with the start of the new academic year 2022-2023, as the faculties of Agriculture, Alsun, and Special Needs Science were keen to organize reception ceremonies for all their students, and to introduce the various departments, specializations and programs, youth care activities, and other sports and artistic activities to develop students’ diverse skills.
The university president explained that these celebrations and introductory activities are organized at the beginning of the academic year, to make a kind of integration between new and old students and break the barrier of fear among new students after their transition from pre-university education, which is completely different from the nature of life and study within the university. Therefore, all theoretical, scientific and applied colleges are keen to hold reception ceremonies and introductory activities for their students.
Prof. Dr. Abdullah Sayed Abdel Moneim, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, confirmed that a reception ceremony was organized for new students to introduce them to the history and establishment of the college, its importance for the governorate and the region in light of the challenges of climate change, and the importance of student activities in building the university students personality and keeping pace with the university’s plan in developing communication methods and its efforts to reject intolerance and accept the others.
Dr. Ibrahim Hamed, Dean of the College of Al-Alsun, held an open dialogue with the new students to introduce them to the departments and the nature of the study, wishing them a year full of success, and confirmed the necessity of participating in student activities alongside the study.
Dr. Heba Abu El-Nile, Dean of the College of Special Needs Science, welcomed the new students, urged them to strive hard and combine the theoretical and practical aspects to be successful specialists in the future.
