Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the organization of the Faculty of Developmental Social Work, an awareness forum for students about climate changes, and the introduction of the Decent Life Initiative.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the university’s keenness to raise awareness of the issue of climate change as a global issue with local effects, as the causes of this phenomenon are due to the increase in the rates of industrial human activity, which led to an increase in the concentration of gases in the atmosphere, and the occurrence of “global warming.”
He appreciated the role of the political leadership and its keenness to host the 27th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Convention (COP 27) on Climate Change, from 7-18 November in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Dr. Abul-Hassan Abdul-Mawgod, Dean of the College, gave a lecture at the forum on the contributions of young people to Decent Life Program and the societal and social return of partnership in such initiatives at the level of the targeted villages in Beni-Suef.
