Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Science will organize a scientific conference entitled From Pollution to Solution "A Global Assessment of climate change
in Cooperation with Nile University, whose opening session will be held next Sunday, September 18, 2022, in the conference hall, and its closing session at Nile University on September 19, 2022, in the presence of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Beni Suef University, and Dr. Ahmed Radwan, Vice President of Nile University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Irene Sami Fahim, Director of the Intelligent Engineering Systems Research Center, faculty members, researchers and students
Dr. Mansour confirmed that the conference discusses the problems of climate change in an attempt to find solutions to them by giving lectures by specialists from senior professors and researchers in the field of climate change, with the presentation of scientific posters for scientific research that include topics related to climate change, adding that the conference comes in conjunction with hosting the Republic of Arab Egypt The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from 7-18 November 2022, which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh
The President of the University pointed to the participation of a number of bodies and competent authorities in the conference, such as the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation and industrial companies such as the Titan Cement Factory, in addition to the Center of Excellence for Water, which is a center established in 2019 at Alexandria University under the supervision of the American University in Cairo, where It offers a range of grants and services to undergraduate and post graduate students and faculty members
who interested in the field of water, in partnership with five Egyptian universities
Including Beni Suef University and five American universities. The center's previous achievements and future plans will be presented during the conference. The project for the conservation of migratory soaring birds, a project of the Ministry of Environment implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and the World Council for the Protection of Birds, is also participating in the conference
