Cooperation protocol between Beni Suef University and the Higher Technological Institute of Beni Suef

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, Dr. Mohamed Issa, Dean of the Higher Technological Institute in Beni Suef, Eng. Ragai Abdel Fattah, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the accompanying delegation signed a joint cooperation protocol that includes several aspects of cooperation in the  administrative, health, sports, technical, cultural, and advisory fields

The university president stressed that the protocol aims to raise the educational level by providing distinguished academic educational services to cover the quantitative and qualitative gap in the disciplines needed by the Egyptian, Arab and foreign labor market, as well as qualifying young scientific cadres, sponsoring innovators and inventors, and achieving the maximum possible investment of Egyptian scientific competencies and capabilities to push the wheel of development Technology in the various manufacturing sectors in terms of the retrofit approach to sustainable development

Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that cooperation in the academic field included joint supervision of master’s and doctoral theses, and professional diplomas for  post graduate students at the Higher Technological Institute, as well as cooperation in the field of developing the capabilities of faculty members and the assistant staff at the Institute by taking advantage of the capabilities and expertise of the University’s Training and Development Center, and organizing Scientific conferences  , seminars and joint workshops between the university and the institute. Aspects of academic cooperation also included benefiting from the university’s expertise in reviewing, implementing and designing quality systems for the educational process, standards and procedures for appointing faculty members and the supporting staff, It also included cooperation in organizing international conferences and various scientific exhibitions, encouraging joint research, and stimulating the international publication of researchers from both parties. The university will also allow the use of the laboratories of the various faculties of the institute's students to serve the educational process, as well as training university students in the institute's laboratories and workshops

Dr/Mansour also indicated that cooperation in the administrative field includes providing the university to the institute with young administrative expertise and implementing joint workshops for administrators to provide them with expertise, as well as allowing the institute’s quality team to use the university’s expertise and provide them with all human and technical assistance when the institute applying for  quality and accreditation, and with regard to cooperation in the  health ,field the university will allow the institute staff and students to receive medical services such as treatment, radiology and chemical analyzes at the university hospital and the university’s outpatient clinics As for cooperation in the sports field, the university’s stadiums will be made available to students and employees of the institute for a maximum of one day per week in coordination with the youth care between the two parties, as well as the university’s availability for the various sports teams at the institute to participate in the tournaments that held on the university’s stadiums Finally, the cooperation in the advisory field included the administration of new programs and divisions at the university providing advice and ideas to the institute in order to establish new programs, and providing the university with the competencies and expertise necessary to establish special units such as the environmental consultancy unit, international classification, international publishing and scientific journals, and the occupational health and safety unit
