Beni Suef University Council approves organization of Elderly Companion course at the Institute of the Elderly Science Studies

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved, during its 207th session, the proposal of the Institute of the Elderly Science Studies to organize Elderly Companion course from the second week of May 2022 for a period of 128 hours divided between theoretical lectures and practical exercises in accordance with the rules of the Unified Regulation for special units. This was in the presence of university's vice presidents, deans of faculties and members of the council.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, indicated that organizing the course comes within the framework of activating and implementing the cooperation protocol signed by the Ministry of Social Solidarity with the National Institute for Elderly Science at the university, which aims to improve the quality of services provided to the elderly in Egypt by providing means of care for the elderly within their families and providing a service for the elderly who are unable to take care of himself and fulfill his basic needs as a better service to the elderly.
