The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, agreed, in its 206th session, to contract with the Faculty Care Fund and their assistants in universities and research institutes to secure medical treatment and provide health care services to faculty members and their assistants at the university.
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the cooperation from the fund provides many tremendous advantages, including coverage of health services for each faculty member up to 250 thousand pounds annually, and includes examinations in doctors’ and consultants’ clinics and outpatient clinics, as well as conducting diagnostic radiology, medical analyzes, laboratory tests, and physiotherapy sessions. at approved centres.
The university president added that the services also include performing surgical operations, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, providing medicines and medical supplies, and accommodation in intensive care, pointing out that the health services currently provided are within the first phase of the project, followed by the inclusion of the families of faculty members in the second phase.
