A protocol of cooperation between Beni Suef University and the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa in the fields of research, education and forensic astronomy

Today, Monday, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Dr. Shawky Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, signed a cooperation protocol in the fields of research, education, training programs, scientific consultations, forensic astronomy, and space science and technology.
The agreement comes within the framework of integration and fruitful cooperation between the various state institutions in the light of the new republic under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for the Community Service Sector, Dr. Ali Badr, Member of Parliament, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Senator, Dr. Osama Shalabia, Dean of the College of Navigation and Space Technology, Dr. Magdi Ashour, Academic Advisor to the Grand Mufti, and Dr. Ibrahim Najm, Advisor The media personality and Secretary-General of the role and fatwa bodies in the world, Dr. Ali Omar Al-Farouq, Director of the Oral Fatwa Department, Counselor Osama Al-Hindawi, Secretary-General of Dar Al-Ifta, the deans of the faculties of science, law, agriculture and health sciences technology, the Plant Institute and the Enterprise Institute, the deans of the College of Navigation Sciences and a number of students.
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan congratulated the Grand Mufti for renewing confidence in the position of the Grand Mufti of Egypt, pointing out that the College of Navigation Sciences is one of the unique colleges of its kind in the Middle East and has many modern laboratories that keep pace with the global development in the field of space sciences. Pointing out that the agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of exchanging scientific and technical expertise between faculty members and experts at Dar Al-Ifta in many fields, especially public astronomy, forensic astronomy and space technology, working on their settlement and development, and exchanging scholarships and programs for both parties, and implementing joint projects. A number of training courses concerned with issues of forensic astronomy and space technology, and work to spread astronomical culture and combat star issues and intellectual extremism.
