President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the second training course for university leaders

   Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today the second training course for university leaders. These courses are being held for the first time at Beni Suef University to raise the efficiency of faculty members in leadership
It came in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Khaleq, former Vice President of Beni Suef University and lecturer in the training course, Dr. Gamal Abdel-Muttalib, Director of the Human Resources Development Center, and 88 professors and assistant professors
Dr. Mansour Hassan congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the July 23 revolution, stressing that the coming period will include raising the efficiency of faculty members, administrative staff, students and graduates in accordance with the state’s vision, and that the course that was opened today will be held over a period of 3 days, during which the trainee obtains a certificate of completion of the course, which is  a condition to held a leadership position within the university
The President of Beni Suef University explained that the aim of this course is to raise the efficiency of faculty members in university's leadership and management, and it includes institutional development in the education and student sectors, strategic planning, national issues and anti-corruption, crisis and risk management, financial and administrative aspects of universities, legal aspects in universities, and leadership. Dr. Jamal Abdel Muttalib, Director of the Human Resources Development Center, said that there is great support from Dr. Mansour Hassan to hold these courses in order to qualify the faculty members and the administrative body inside the university in all fields, stressing that there is a role for the Human Resources Development Center in preparing university leaders from members of the university body to spread awareness within the university community and spread the principles of integrity, transparency and anti-corruption, in addition to training staff and students.
It is noteworthy that the President of Beni Suef University has opened this month the first training course for candidacy for the position of dean of a college or institute, which is a requirement of the Supreme Council of Universities, in the presence of 45 professors, including the deans of colleges and institutes.
