Renewing the signing of the cooperation protocol between Beni Suef University and the Public Authority for Adult Education

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today a ceremony to renew the signing of the joint cooperation protocol between the university and the Public Authority for Adult Education, in the presence of Dr. Ashour Ahmed Omri, President of the Public Authority for Adult Education and Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi Vice President of the University for the Community Service Sector, Dr. Hanan Suleiman and Dr. Moamad Moaz the members of the Senate
The university president emphasized that the protocol comes within the framework of the university’s participation in serving the surrounding community in order to curb the issue of illiteracy, which is one of the most important issues that hinder the development process in Egypt. Therefore, the need has become urgent for depending  on the university's youth to eliminate it . By exempted any student who wipes out the illiteracy of five individuals ,from the school fees within one academic year
Dr. Mansour indicated that the university will continuously follow up on those who are illiterate and provide them with all forms of support and assistance to join the regular education system, and the basic education stages, pointing out that the university, through its scientific cadres, will follow the literacy classes to stand on the seriousness of work and eliminate all challenges that hinder  the work's development 
Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi added that the university will conduct a comprehensive field survey in villages, neighborhoods and governorate centers to determine the current situation of illiteracy in the governorate, adding that the university will give the participants in this project some incentives
