President of Beni Suef University inspects the student unions' election committees

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inspected today, Sunday, the first round of the Student Union elections in a number of university colleges, to check on the conduct of the voting process and to ensure that there are no obstacles in the voting process, amid precautionary measures against the Corona virus.
The university president confirmed during his tour that the elections are taking place in an atmosphere of transparency and integrity, amidst student turnout, a commitment to wearing masks while participating in the voting process and social distancing.
He emphasized that the final number of student applicants for the Student Union elections this year amounted to 1136, including 708 male and 428 female students, according to the final lists of the university's faculties.
University President Mansour Hassan pointed out that the student elections are a microcosm and a practical application for practicing democracy in which all appropriate conditions for student participation in the electoral process are easily and conveniently provided, stressing that the university stands at the same distance from all its students.
