President of Beni Suef University surprises the Council of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and directs to contribute in the development of Snour Cave

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, surprises the Council of the College of Earth Sciences, where he chaired the Council and welcomed its members, in the presence of Dr. Ali Qarni Salim, Dean of the College and the Vice Deans and Heads of Departments

During the council, the university president directed the necessity of the college’s contribution in  the development  of Senor Cave, and the formation of a specialized research team to set the strategic and research plan in the college. He also reviewed the presentation of the Water Resources and Environment Management program at Al Ahlia University, and the presentation of new study programs in the college in cooperation with the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, and concluding Cooperation protocol for the Engineering Geology program with its counterpart in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to discussing the quality and accreditation file in the faculty, and the grants offered to distinguished and incapable students

The university president also stressed the need to activate all precautionary and preventive measures to deal with the emerging corona virus, and the use of thermometers and alarms to wear masks for students, and he also reviewed the college’s preparations to make scientific trips based on the department’s records, and directed the necessity to complete the construction of the fourth floor and provide it with new research laboratories and a digital library to serve students and researchers, taking into account occupational safety and health procedures during construction
