President of Beni Suef University honors a number of media studies pioneers and press and media icons

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, honored a number of pioneers of media studies and press and media icons on the sidelines of the first international scientific conference of the Faculty of Mass Communication, entitled "Arab Media in the Light of Digital Competition and Generational Wars ... Realistic Visions and Future Challenges."

The honored persons included pioneers of media studies; Dr. Ali Agwa, former Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Dr. Maggie Al-Halawani, former Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Dr. Mona Al-Hadidi, Chairman of the Committee for Promotion of Professors and Associate Professors and a member of the Supreme Council of Media, Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Modern University and the former Minister of Mass Communication, Dr. Sami Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Media Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Hassan Emad, former Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and Dr. Hamdi Hassan, former Vice President of Misr International University and Secretary of the Media Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, and Dr. Mahmoud Alam El-Din, Professor of Journalism at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and Dr. Mohamed Moawad, former Dean of the Higher Institute of Al-Jazeera.

From the symbols of the press and the media in Egypt; Hussein Zain, Chairman of the National Media Authority, Ahmed Galal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm, Rifaat Fayyad, Editor-in-Chief of Akhbar Al-Youm, Muhammad Habib, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, Zaki Al-Saadani, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Wafd Newspaper, and Mahmoud Muslim, a Senator member and Chairman of the DMC Network, Emad El Din Hussein, a member of Senate and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Shorouk, Yasser Abdel Aziz, a media expert and international Coach, Amira Salem, Head of the news sector, Taghreed Hussein, Head of the Nile Channel, Mohamed Helmy, Head of Extra News Channel, and Khaled Saad, chief broadcaster of Channel One.

The university president honored a number of media studies icons and sessions' presidents including Dr. Howaida Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Dr. Mahmoud Youssef, Professor of Public Relations at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Nahda University, and Dr. Walid Fathallah, Professor and former Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Dr. Mahmoud Ismail, Professor and Head of Media and Children's Culture Department at Ain Shams University, Dr. Sherif Al Laban, Professor and Head of the Journalism Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Dr. Mohamed Saad, Professor and Dean of Higher Institute of Media in Al Shorouk, and Dr. Helmy Mohassab, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, South Valley University.

The list of symbols of art in Egypt and the Arab world included, Samira Abdel Aziz, a Senate member, and a scriptwriter, Magdy Saber.

The conference sponsors were also honored, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nile Lounge Restaurants, David Markus, and Engineer/ Khaled Badawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Titan Cement Factories, on behalf of him, Mr. Tony Othman, Director of Public Relations of the Group, and Ibrahim Adam from Adams Production Company.

It is worth noting that the conference was held in the Ibdaa Center hall of the Cultural Development Fund at the Egyptian Opera House, and the conference was chaired by Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication and the conference Reporter is Dr. Amani Albert, Vice-Dean of the College of Mass Communication and Media Adviser of the University.
