Beni Suef University ranks first at universities level in performance indicators of electronic portals

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university's electronic portal has occupied the first place at the level of Egyptian universities, by 100% in achieving the level of activities and services in the evaluation of performance indicators for the first quarter of the year 2020/2021, based on the approval of the Supreme Council of Universities for the final evaluation ratios.
Prof. Dr. Mansour praised the university’s role and efforts in the file of digital transformation in terms of taking all necessary measures to activate electronic services, which allow obtaining the service from anywhere by logging in and uploading the required documents electronically with the availability of several means of inquiry about the service position and procedures through Short message service or information system on the portal.
Prof. Dr. Mansour stated that Beni Suef University's strategy for digital transformation is based on developing the idea of ??institutional structure to raise the real and influential capabilities of the university, indicating that the university has undertaken an institutional development process to reach in an integrated and homogeneous manner a real and sustainable digital transformation as part of its endeavor to be transformed into a smart third-generation university.
For his part, the University President congratulated University's Projects Management for obtaining the distinguished evaluation, headed by Prof. Dr. Hani Al-Nashar, Executive Director of Information and Director of Projects Management. He also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Portal project team and the portal’s development team engineers and their assistants, calling for the necessity to maintain the first position.
He added that this position came as a result of portal's distinguishing with several criteria, including the multiplicity and diversity of websites and electronic links, increasing rates of site visits, publishing the news in 4 languages, weekly bulletins, mobile application, digital transformation and distance education, and presentation of students' results.
