President of Beni Suef University receives the Committee of Supreme Council of Universities to visit the Higher Institute for Heritage, Arts and Literature.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University received Major General Dr. Ehab Mohamed Hanafi, Professor at the Military Technical College, and Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University and the members of Higher Council Committee of Universities assigned to visit the Higher Institute of Heritage, Arts and Literature of the University to determine the extent of its human and material capabilities in preparation for its opening.
The University President indicated that the institute includes five departments; the Department of Folk Art, that is based on the specializations of folk music and folk theater, and the Department of Folk Literature, which is based on the specialization of folk literature and oral old sayings, in addition to the Department of Folklore Arts and Material Culture, Department of customs, beliefs and popular knowledge, as well as the Department of Folklore Curricula and Memorization Techniques.
