President of Beni Suef University chairs the meeting of General Administration of Occupational Safety and Health

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired today, Sunday, the meeting of the General Administration of Occupational Safety and Health, during which the meeting discussed mechanisms to activate the role of occupational safety and health devices at colleges and different sectors. He directed to follow up the effectiveness of the use of temperature measurement devices (Thermometers) on gates daily. This was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Fatma Hassan, Vice President of the University for the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, Prof. Dr. Badr Nabih, Vice President of University for Community Service Sector, University Secretary General and the Unit Director .
During the meeting, the University President mandated the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to inspect and monitor all sterilization gates at the university level and review the use of safe chemicals and ensure their compliance with safety requirements and their conformity with the recommendations of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, stressing the need to refer to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in all matters relating to prevention measures and all precautionary measure.
Prof. Dr. Mansour said that this meeting comes to determine the readiness of the concerned teams to confront Corona virus, so that this plan includes taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of students and university employees.
He also reviewed the package of measures taken to prevent the spread of Corona virus, which includes main axes represented in sterilization of all teaching halls and various university facilities, student housing, university buses, and the provision of sterile materials.
