Beni Suef University ranked third at the level of Egyptian universities in the field of digital transformation

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university won the third place at the level of Egyptian universities in the field of digital transformation, during its participation in the competition of the best university in the current academic year in the field of digital transformation, which was held between universities in implementation of the presidential directives by holding a competition between Egyptian universities .

Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the results of the competition during the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, which was held on Saturday, December 21 at the Council’s headquarters at Cairo University, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Latif, Secretary-General of the Council, and the heads of universities and leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education.

Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized that Beni Suef University is the first at the level of Egyptian universities in obtaining a ministerial decision for the unit of software development and digital transformation and that everything that was produced for digital transformation is through the efforts of the university's sons, faculty and staff, adding that the university is constantly striving to be a leader and distinguished between Local and international universities by providing all the technical ingredients, keeping abreast of electronic developments, developing and localizing the necessary technological knowledge in order to activate the means and tools of information technology in a way that serves the university's goals and objectives.

It is worth noting that the general coordinator of the university for the digital transformation unit is Dr. Excellent is a veil, and the competition arbitration committees included in its membership representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Planning and Administrative Control, the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and a number of experts of the sector committees of the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education.
