President of Beni Suef University reviews the efforts of the University to protect the consumer ... and Major General Abdel Moaty praises the role of the University in supporting the Open Day initiative

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received  Major General Dr. Radhi Abdel Moaty, Head of Consumer Protection Agency and Major General Hossam Hamouda, Secretary General of Beni Suef Governorate to hold the awareness seminar entitled "The role of the state in consumer protection"  On the sidelines of the visit of the head of the Consumer Protection Agency in Beni Suef Governorate.
 the symposium amie  to make sure that the  citizens got their rights in the field of the consumer system and to highlight the role of the state in  controlling markets in the presence of a number of faculty members and students at the university, as well as representatives of bodies and civil society organizations in the governorate
Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, reviewed the university's efforts to protect the consumer in the coming stage, stressing  on the community and service role of the university  in raising the awareness of the   individuals from all segments of the surrounding community
During his speech, Dr. Mansour stressed that the university is part of the state and is responsible for  community role in all sectors that serve the Egyptian citizen, pointing out that the vision of the university is formed within the framework of focusing on two axes
the first axis aims to strengthen the mechanism of communication between government officials, business sector institution and civil society organizations in a way that supports the Egyptian consumer and ensures that he gets his rights without exploitation
While the second axis is to increase consumer awareness of the dangers of relying on counterfeit  goods, through taking a system of measures ,first of them is  the scientific departments  tendency    in a number of relevant  faculties of the University  to put the issue of consumer awareness within its annual agenda, in addition to hold  educational seminars to provide cultural doses for the university family, and the organization of comprehensive awareness caravans in  villages and centers on the dangers of using counterfeit goods with the participation of student election
in addition to the organization of artistic and cultural competitions to encourage the emergence of this role.For his part, Major General Abdel Moaty reviewed the agency's plan to launch extensive monitoring campaigns in different governorates through open day initiatives that roam the governorate of Beni Suef today to resolve citizens' complaints to ensure the government's comprehensive program announced by Prime Minister Dr/ Mostafa Madbouly, which aims to find unconventional mechanisms to deal with citizens' complaints and the need to take all urgent procedures that contribute in controlling markets. He also praised the university's role in supporting the Open Day Initiative.
