President of Beni Suef University: 6720 operations in the university hospital during nine months

Within the framework of the implementation of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to eliminate waiting lists, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the completion of 6720 surgical operations in various disciplines within nine months 
The highest number of operations was cardiac  operations, it  was 43.4% of the total, followed by orthopedic surgery with 9.2%. Stressing that the patients are constantly monitored and  necessary procedures  was taken  if  any health developments  happened for them
The President of the University that the operations that take place in the university hospital does not end with the end of surgery for patients, but extends beyond the operation , in order to  
 follow-up  patients and provide all medical care and treatment for them
He added that the university hospital is working in the spirit team  of  doctors, nursing and management. Its aim is to accelerate previous  procedures to eliminate waiting and to the provision of treatment service at the highest level

The president pointed out that the number of operations which carried out include general surgery 535 operations, plastic surgery 369, urology 459, orthopaedic 647, ophthalmic 644, nose and ear 525, male surgery 44, women 184, vascular 89, cardio-thoracic surgery 51, radiology, pain and anesthesia 66,cardiology  2918, neurosurgeon 189.
