President of Beni Suef University: Change the name of the Faculty of Industrial Education to the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Education

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the approval of the Supreme Council of Universities at its meeting which  held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to change the name of colleges of industrial education in Beni Suef Universities Helwan, Suez and Sohag to be the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Education.
The President of the University  said that the decision comes within the framework of the State's direction in the expansion of technological programs to meet the needs and requirements of the labor market in the current stage
The change of the title opens new horizons for the work of graduates in different factories in the required specialties. This helps to reduce unemployment rates and raise production rates
.He added that the graduate under the new name will receive a Bachelor of Technology as a third technology specialist he becomes qualified to work in all technological sectors, in addition to the field of industrial education in technology colleges, industrial secondary schools and technical institutes
It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Education at the university includes the departments of production technology, hardware technology, electronics technology, control technology, civil construction technology, architectural construction technology and textile technology.
