For the fourth consecutive year ... Beni Suef University wins first place at Egyptian universities level in physics science according to ''Times'' classification, 2020

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university won the first place in the physical science at the level of 18 Egyptian universities, 301-400 worldwide, the third place in life science among 12 Egyptian universities and 601 at the world level. It is also ranked 8th in Health and Medical Science among 14 Egyptian universities and 601 worldwide, according to the British Time Higher Education classification for 2020 .

The University President explained that the classification is based on five main indicators with a number of detailed sub-criteria in the areas of: education (educational environment by 30%); research (volume of published researches and income from scientific research and reputation by 30%); citations (research impact by 30%). International relations (faculty members, students and researches by 7.5%); industry income (knowledge transfer from innovations and patents by 2.5%).
The University President added that the concerted efforts are one of the most important reasons for maintaining the international level of the university for the fourth consecutive year, in addition to the efforts of researchers in all fields in terms of the number of researches, patents, international participation and also qualitative citations, especially in the physical science as the University has researchers and scientists from the top 100 in the world and the most cited in the field of mathematics is Dr. Ali Bahrawi.
The Rector thanked the Ministry of Higher Education, the National Classification Committee and the Knowledge Bank for their training efforts and work to deliver the best research, scientific and knowledge services.
