Beni Suef University is in the process of opening the first rehabilitation center for children with special needs in Upper Egypt

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university is in the process of opening the first national center for the rehabilitation of children with special needs in Upper Egypt, in cooperation with Reda Awad Charitable Society and some banks and governmental and private associations to serve the governorate and Upper Egypt.
The President of the University explained that the center was built on an area of ??four acres and includes outpatient clinics for detection and clinics for the work of physical rehabilitation and functional and psychological rehabilitation for children with needs, under the supervision of a group of professors at the Faculty of Medicine from the departments of rheumatism, rehabilitation, orthopedics, psychiatry, speech and neurology.
He added that the center is equipped with therapeutic swimming pools and hospital and includes an internal section for the residence of children with special needs that need continuous rehabilitation sessions and a large conference hall to contribute to provide advanced medical service for children with special needs.
It is worth mentioning that there is a continuous field follow-up from Dr. Mansour to find out the actual achievement rate. An inspection of the final stage of equipping the Medical Rehabilitation Center building in the east of the Nile in order to put the finishing touches and equip the operating mechanisms and medical equipment of the center and develop the operating plan for the center.
