President of Beni Suef University receives the evaluation committee of the best university ... and confirms moving forward towards digital transformation

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received Dr. Salah Hashim, brigadier general  Khaled Mahmoud and Colonel Tamer Abu Bakr, members of the evaluation committee in the competition of the best university organized by the Ministry of Higher Education
to evaluate universities in terms of the readiness of the academic year and student activities and efforts to develop the files of   digital transformation.The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Khader, Vice President for Education and Students, Dr. Bader Nabih, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hani Al-Nashar, Executive Director of Information and Development Projects, Dr. Mumtaz Hijab, Digital Transformation Coordinator, and Dr. Ashraf Al-Abbasi, Coordinator of the University in the competition

The meeting began with a detailed film about the university and its various faculties and unique programs in addition to its origins and its position in the international classifications, and digital transformation mechanisms at the university
Dr. Mansour Hassan said during the meeting that the university is moving fast towards digital transformation. The university has in a record time to convert all services and administrative and student operations into electronic operations, and the establishment of a unit to produce software and upgrade the level of information infrastructure. And the development of electronic protection systems

The university president added that the selection criteria for the committee are the infrastructure of the university, such as terraces, classrooms, libraries, laboratories and workshops, in addition to communication between students and faculty members and various student activities and student housing In addition to the aesthetic appearance of the colleges and the logo of the university and the contributions of the university in serving the surrounding community and the development of its environment.Regarding the file of developing informal settlements, Dr. Bader Nabih pointed out that the university has built a number of roofs for the most needy families and installed water connections of more than 950 meters to serve 1050 people, equivalent to 95 houses, in the villages of Senor in the east of the Nile and the village of Hamouda of the Nasser Center, and launched student campaigns to beautify the classrooms of schools in those villages, and the gardening campaign, With the organization of a number of recreational and educational activities for school students, and the establishment of an exhibition of ready-made clothes and shoes containing more than ten thousand pieces for all categories, which were distributed free of charge to the people

It is worth mentioning that the President of the University accompanied the Committee to inspect a number of university faculties in West and East Nile and inspect the university campuses and guesthouses and the Institute of Medical and Aromatic Plants and Laser Institute,  a questionnaire was distributed to students by the Committee.
