President of Beni Suef University: Faculty of Science wins third research project among the top five projects in Egypt

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Science has won a third research project in the Department of Botany and Microbiology among the top five transferable research projects as startups in Egypt by Venture Well Foundation and the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) as part of the Innovate Competition. Thus, researchers have an active role in serving the community. He pointed out that the idea of ??the project is to reuse the waste of yeast factories as a super bio fertilizer that promotes crop growth and increases their production as an environmentally safe and alternative solution to expensive chemical fertilizers.
He added that the competition is based on the selection of groups of researchers and innovators entrepreneurs serving the industry. The selected groups are trained for two consecutive months to teach participants how to discover the market and create the business model needed to transform the idea into a start-up to serve the needs of the market.
