Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, issued a decision No. 1352 on 8 September, 2019, for Dr. Boutros Riad Bakhit, professor at the Faculty of Science,to be the dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences from 8/9/2019 for a year
Dr. Boutros obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology in 1989, Cairo University, and then a Master in Geology Sciences, Minerals and Rocks, Cairo University Doctor of Philosophy in Geology, Minerals and Rocks


He was also appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University, then Assistant Lecturer in the same department, then professor and then Assistant Professor till now
He also received three scientific missions to Switzerland
