President of Beni Suef University: Changing the name of Recycling Center to the Center of developing methods to preserve environment
The Board of Beni Suef University No. (172), under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, in the presence of University Vice-Presidents, deans of faculties and members of the Council approved to change the name of Waste Recycling Center to the Center of developing methods to conserve environment, as the University has a pioneering role in activating the role of scientific research in the development of ways to preserve the environment scientifically.
The university's president explained that the center follows the university administration and is considered one of the productive units with participation of Faculty of Graduate Studies of Advanced Science, Faculty of Environmental Agriculture, Development and Food Processing, and the Medical and Aromatic Plants Research Institute, adding that the council approved the proposal to form the board of directors.
Prof.Dr. Mansour Hassan pointed out that the center will work on separating useful materials from useless waste such as metals, plastic, glass, paper and other recyclable materials and preparing them for sale in the local market, as well as treating the organic materials in the most appropriate and best ways to produce organic fertilizer.
