President of Beni Suef University: Faculty of Nursing organizes training course on the Elderly Care
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Nursing organized a training course on the care of elderly people in cooperation with the Institute of Studies of the Elderly Science. This was during his chairmanship of the University Council No. 172, in the presence of University Vice-Presidents, deans of faculties and members of the University Council.
The University President explained that the importance of the course comes from the importance of the elderly, who constitute a major category of society. The course focuses on the health care of the elderly, the basics of nutrition of the elderly, the institutional framework for providing food care, malnutrition and risks, Nursing care for the elderly and conditions to be met by a nurse who deals with the elderly.
