President of Beni Suef University: 1.3 million pounds to finance research project in the field of clean energy
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that a research project in the field of clean energy has been awarded with funding of 1.366 million pounds from the Science and Technological Development Fund of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The University President explained that the project is entitled "Design of Clean and Economical Energy Storage Devices Using Mixed Nanomaterials". Tackling a key issue of energy storage, management and integration in medical devices in order to obtain clean safe energy of high efficiency, especially in the development of safety and efficiency of energy storage of superconductors instead of toxic and explosive battery, especially in medical devices or mobile phones.
Adding that the project also aims to design safe and high-quality power capacitors using efficient and inexpensive nanomaterials based on the second generation of asymmetric capacitor systems, as well as the complete fabrication of high-capacity and safe capacitors.
It is worth mentioning that the main researcher of the project, Dr. Ahmed Gamal Aldin Anwar Khalil, Teacher at the Faculty of Graduate Studies of Advanced Science.
