Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the symposium organized by the Faculty of Law at the University entitled "Constitutional amendments and their implications for political, economic and social life" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jamal Abdel-Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Law, in the presence of Mr. Soliman Wahdan, Undersecretary of the Chamber of Deputies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Refaat, former Ambassador of Egypt in UNESCO and former President of Beni Suef University, and Prof. Rabah Ratib Basta, former Vice President of Beni Suef University. Vice-Presidents of the University, Professor Hisham Abdel-Moneim , the President of the Department of Public Law in faculty , and a number of faculty members and students.
during his speech, he stressed the importance of amending the constitution to be in line with the development of conditions, society and the best interest of the country so as not to stand in the way of the sustainable development witnessed by Egypt during the period of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. who succeeded in bringing

Mr. Soliman Wahdan pointed out that the constitutional amendments are in the best interest of the stability of the state and its institutions, stressing that the symposium comes in the light of the community dialogue conducted by the House of Representatives during the current period to introduce the new constitutional amendments among university youth, in light of article No 226 which organize the amendment . Dr.Jamal Abdulrahman introduced a detailed explanation of the most important amendments which including the support of some groups of society, the establishment of the Senate, and determine the duration of the presidency to be six years and reforms in the system of selection of heads of bodies and agencies , Dr. Ahmed Refaat presented an overview of the history of the Egyptian constitutions of 1923 and the experiences of some foreign countries in the amendment. He confirmed that all the conditions of the amendment were fully met , Prof. Dr. Rabah Rattib praised the role of Beni Suef University and its support for all national issues.
